The short version.

Zenara Jaya was founded in 2024 to close a gap we’d been watching for years. Good businesses were doing real work with the wrong tools — the software they could afford wasn’t built for them, and the software built for them wasn’t affordable. Too many owners were paying with their evenings.

We started the studio we wished had existed when our friends were starting out. The one that would have picked up the phone, listened first, and shown up on a Saturday if Saturday was when the shop was open.

Today that work reaches past Sarawak — across Malaysia, into Singapore and Australia. The work is calm. The relationships are long. We’re proud of who’s chosen us, and choosy about who we say yes to in return.

What we believe.

Four ideas that shape every project.

Listen first.

Most discovery calls are sales calls in disguise. Ours aren’t. We take notes, ask short questions, and let silence sit.

Quiet craft.

Craft isn’t visible in screenshots. It’s in the seams — error messages, empty states, what happens when the WiFi drops.

Long partnerships.

Most clients come back for round two, three, four. We cap active engagements so we’re there when they do. Quality compounds. Volume doesn’t.

Honest pricing.

The number we quote is the number we mean. No introductory discounts, no “by Friday” theatre. Charm-based pricing burns goodwill.
